Homework Club

“We are one big family and all enjoy what we do together”

The Homework Club meets every Monday and Wednesday after school in IT2.

Attendance is completely voluntary and students can arrive and leave as they wish but we do ask that students enter their names into a visitor book. Sessions start at 3.20 and we like to finish at 4:30pm.

The Club caters for the learning needs of all student levels in most subjects. The strongest focus tends to be in mathematics but students do work on assignments, catch up with class-work and finalise formal homework tasks in a wide range of subjects across all year levels. The skill base within the volunteer staff covers most disciplines.

The atmosphere within the Club is busy. There is no set working mode – students can learn from each other or from a staff member. Group work is common and often, mini lessons are delivered by staff members to assist, inspire and challenge students.
