I would like to welcome you to the South Oakleigh College Instrumental Music Program. The opportunity for South Oakleigh College students to learn an instrument and be part of an ensemble poses many benefits to the students’ health and wellbeing not to mention a sense of belonging that being part of this wonderful program has to offer. Students work together with a majority of our ensembles being multiyear levels which inadvertently develops student leadership and mentorship for the more experienced and senior students posing as great role models for the beginner and junior students.
Throughout the year, there are many opportunities for students to participate in a wide variety of musical events such as Music Camps, small Soirees, Concerts, internal and external performances, eisteddfods, AMEB exams and many more events.
At South Oakleigh College, we are inclusive of all of our students and know that it’s possible to achieve anything all the while having fun getting there.
